Aims
of the Cats Action Trust
The Cats Action Trust is a
voluntary group aiming to rescue abandoned
cats and kittens in North & West Wiltshire. Cats and kittens in
need of care are
brought in throughout the year, given Veterinary treatment if needed,
and kept in foster homes until
re-homed.
Our
Work
We always have cats waiting for a loving home
Every effort is made to ensure animals are in good health.
All animals are neutered or spayed.
(Please note that ages given are approximate)
As our cats are constantly changing
please ring or email us for our current cats
Check our 'Cats needing a home' for the latest information
We take in approximately 200 cats and kittens every year, 99% of these are re-homed.
(sometimes animals are too sick, old or difficult to put into a family home,
in which case we care for them as long as possible, believing that they
deserve comfort and happiness even if their life is almost over)
Cat
of the week - PEANUT
Peanut is a gentle giant who has
been straying for some time. He is
Black and White shorthaired neutered lad approximately 2/3 years
old and has been blood tested and a full health check. He is very
friendly and enjoyed a good fuss, but because he has been unloved for
so long, he’s forgotten what life is like in a home environment, so
will need time to readjusted to having a loving home of his own. All
Peanut wants is a kind home with a garden he can call his
own and a family he can love.
