Aims
of the Cats Action Trust
The Cats Action Trust is a
voluntary group aiming to rescue abandoned
cats and kittens in North & West Wiltshire. Cats and kittens in
need of care are
brought in throughout the year, given Veterinary treatment if needed,
and kept in foster homes until
re-homed.
Our
Work
We always have cats waiting for a loving home
Every effort is made to ensure animals are in good health.
All animals are neutered or spayed.
(Please note that ages given are approximate)
As our cats are constantly changing
please ring or email us for our current cats
Check our 'Cats needing a home' for the latest information
We take in approximately 200 cats and kittens every year, 99% of these are re-homed.
(sometimes animals are too sick, old or difficult to put into a family home,
in which case we care for them as long as possible, believing that they
deserve comfort and happiness even if their life is almost over)
Cat
of the week - CHICO
Chico came into rescue as an
injured stray. Although
he is FIV+ he's in very good health and would love the opportunity to
have a proper home where, ideally, he could have access to a secure,
cat-proofed garden or a cat run, as we don't think he would be happy
without some outside space. From a wary and shy cat of the streets, he
has blossomed into a friendly boy who likes nothing better than to sit
on his fosterer's lap while she works on the computer. He would suit a
quiet adult home with no young children. Can you give Chico the home he
so deserves?
